Welcome to the J. Northarm Fraser Studio Gallery, located
on the north shore of the north arm of the Fraser River.
The studio window offers a wide-angle view of the bustling river traffic, a swath of wetlands, then the distant mills and the Knight Street Bridge. It’s all here at a glance, an ever-changing vista of the river that works hard for its living.
From this location many of the ideas for the “Painted Stories of B.C.” originate.
A note about the paintings: Most of the paintings are in watercolour. A few are in gouche and acrylic. I paint on very thick 300-lb. Arches or Fabriano paper. Acid-free, of course.
Until we obtain Gallery or Agent representation, prices are very reasonable. For example, no more than $800.00 for the larger pieces (21” x 13”) and as little as $250.00 for the smaller. All paintings are double matted and unframed.
